Took a one day leave from work to service the car.
Sent the car in at 8am to the service center. Came out almost 1k poorer. Now at the second workshop replacing the absorbers. The car should run like new now. I had an uninteresting lunch… Not what I’d usually go for. In fact, in my current sleepy state, I fancy having a Machiato and fried carrot cakes.
I have this theory about caring for cars – early detection of problems and early replacement of parts will spare you longterm headaches. This is why even though the car is approaching its 8th birthday, its condition is comparable to a car that’s 2years of age. I’m proud of the fact that I take very good care of my car. It looks rather decent inside and out for a car its age and it has served me very well. Parents been asking me to change cars but I’m a bit reluctant. My car still runs well.
