There are a few things i believe strongly and one of it is that you are really what you eat. The photo up there is what i had this morning. On the left are my supplements, on the right is the powderful of stuff that turns a gooey green when i add water and behind is my vegetable fritter for breakfast.
You are really what you eat. If you feed your body junk food, you will in the end bear the consequences of dumping all that junk into your body – chemicals, preservatives etc.
I don’t exactly omit everything but I eat these things in limited quantities and rarely too. Take coca cola for example, I think I only consume this fizzy drink less than 10 times a year and that’s only the canned version. I don’t take sweets that contains artificial sugards. I don’t always munch on those snacks found in tuck shops.
If you feed your body well enough, you will be rewarded with less health problems. I am not saying you will be without any health problems, some of these can’t be omitted perhaps due to genetics but at least you can minimise it or delay the onset of any potential problems.
Which brings me to another point, regular medical checkups or if not possible, then check ups when you think something is indeed wrong. Its worth the trouble and effort. At least you can address the problems in its early stage. Prevention is what I am aiming for. I mean, why purposely screw up your health when you know you will have to face ill health in the future. Isn’t it better to just fix it now than to suffer later?
I prefer to fear now then later. Why fear my blood test as oppose to fearing chemo later on? Which do you think is a better pick?
Knowledge is indeed power so if you know your medical history take it as a blessing, follow up, take care and live well.
I will be on the 8th day of my detox program tomorrow and all these have cumulated to tomorrow’s BIG ONE. Pray that I’ll survive it.
I want to reverse some of the not-so-good signs in my blood test results through this detox, change in food/lifestyle.
