I ordered the Motorola Android for dad’s birthday. Should be taking delivery today. If so, John should be bringing it in for me tomorrow.
Why this phone?
It is supposed to be the fastest, slimmest (qwerty slider) and its not a symbian/win phone. I read about the limited app memory issue and since its my dad that is using it, this would be a non-issue. Dad’s not the type to install loads or stuff. The widgets will be very interesting to tinker around with and i have a few in mind to install.No phone is perfect but this phone will suit dad fine.
I’ll post up a review of this phone once i get my hands on it. Yes, photos included.
If an Android phone is as good as they say it is, then I’ll get one for myself (but at least with the 2.2 to 3.0 version). Sony’s mini android phone is the 1.6 version. I can upgrade the OS? Yes, that is possible but not on all phones. Some phones’s OS upgrade is not supported by the hardware. So i’ll just wait for a 2.22 version phone – just to be safe.
