I bought the ShaShinKi Table Top Portable Photo Studio with Lighting Lights Kit (40x40x40cm) online. Arrived within 2 days. I managed to find a space to set it up. It came packed up very very neatly. Great if you are short of space. The whole thing is easy to set up. I would have preferred more lights but since I have the external flash and the in-camera flash, all in all, i have four sources of light.
As you can see from the above photo. Left and right is the small lights that came with the portable studio. In front is my tripod. Would be good if you get a tripod that has an easy-to-move-around center column. If you get a Manfrotto then i think it would be the Pro ones. I’m currently using the 190cxpro4. If you like a lighter carbon fiber one, you can go for gitzo (ahem, which is more expensive lah).
Okay, back to the mini studio. It comes with difference coloured fabric cloths – blue, black, white, red, blue. Easy to use lah. Really a no brainer. Oh, if you wanna do product shots either use the camera’s timer or a remote shutter control lah (i think my remote has gone bonkers from all that outdoor use).
