The worse thing about getting diarrhea is…

Being in the middle of the night market, in the midst of shopping AND no clean toilet in sight, plus a car that’s parked far away.

I went out looking for my favourite char kuey teow. Had wanted to eat at the stall, hot off the wok but well, the tummy ache came suddenly. By the time i packed my kuey teow (yes, i was determined to get it), i was in cold sweat! I had to POO!!

Drove home like a mad woman.

Ran up to the toilet barely making it.

I had to unbutton the pants whilst running to the toilet. Darn diarrhea. I wonder what triggered it.

Anyway, the char kuey teow was really good. The vegetable pau was superb. The orange, well, a disappointment. And yes, I ate all those after I was done with the toilet.

Diarrhea – of all nights!?!?

I drank two fresh coconuts, had some curries and had diarrhea twice. My parents are fine so they do not think its the dinner we ate. Or did i drink too much coconut juice?

Darn, my tummy’s rumbling.

Diarrhea in the middle of the night

Must have eaten something wrong and i believe i know what it is.

Went to the loo twice already. Tummy’s still rumbling BUT I am not going to make the same mistake overdosing the diarrhea pills AND getting “stuck” like the last time.

But the tummy is really churning. Oh well, might as well get it out of my system. Let the body flush out the toxins naturally.

Oh shit…. after the cough comes this. Geez…

What do I usually do?

Well, after the few bouts in the loo and if its still bad, i pop a pill to stop the diarrhea. But i will also make a drink to replace the salts i’ve lost. If there’s vomitting, head to the doctor’s. The last bad diarrhea I had, i puked in the doctor’s room. I got a jab to ease the pain, nausea etc.

Went to the doctor’s again

Decided to see my good ole GP today. Should have gone to him earlier. Anyway, he gave some meds and the pain stopped.

I’m feeling much better now.

Weak but much better.

Food poisoning (again)

I had food poisoning again (or so the doctor said).

Woke up on Sunday morning, had a very good photography shot and then it happened when I got home. Two putges and after one long vomit session, I was totally out. Took a couple of meds but it didn’t work. Pain went on throughout the night and it was so bad that my parents had to take me to see the doctor.  Had a jab and more meds and was able to sleep.

Anyway, things aren’t look up that great. The pain is still here. And it radiates throughout the back.

The suspect? Tom yam steamboat the night before.

Perhaps this is one of the reasons now why I should stay away from steamboats.

Oh yeah, I puked in the doctor’s clinic.

 

Ahem… the “drop” has been made

6 prunes + 3 days of meals (heavy dinners) + 6 bananas + 3 bottles of yakult

i’m not entirely done yet.

 

 

Banana no.4 ….and 25 minutes later

Still nothing.

 😦

Dad said i look pretty miserable. And yes, I feel miserable too. Might need “external” help if the 5th banana can’t do the job.

This will teach me never to over-dose on diarrhea meds anymore. sigh.

Diarrhea over but I’m stuck

I think I over-dosed on the diarrhea pills. I have that feeling that i wanna “go” but its not coming.
